Prevent Black/Blue/Snowy Screen

SAT Auto-Tune

SAT Auto Tune allows you to program the remote to tune to the correct channel used for watching DISH programming when the SAT mode button is pressed. The SAT Auto Tune feature is most useful for preventing black, blue, or snowy screens on TV2.

  1. Press and hold the TV MODE button until all mode buttons light up.
  2. Press the * button.
  3. Enter the TV channel required for viewing DISH programming. The TV mode button will light up.
  4. Press the # button.
  5. Press the SAT MODE button.

  2. Press the * button.
  3. Press the VOLUME DOWN button.
  4. Press the # button.

Limited Mode

A common problem when using your remote is switching to the wrong input. Limited Mode keeps you from accidentally changing the input on your TV.

  1. Press and hold the TV mode button until all mode buttons light up.
  2. Press the PAGE UP button.
  3. Press the POUND (#) button.
  4. Press the SAT MODE button.
