Troubleshoot a black screen when you can access the guide. Here are two ways to resolve this issue.
Solution One: Let’s put your receiver into standby mode. Press the Power button on the front of your receiver to put it into standby. Wait 10 seconds, and then press the Power button again to turn it back on.
Solution Two: Still having issues? Let’s perform a power reset. Go to the Diagnostics screen by pressing the Home button three times. Select “Tools.” Then “Reset Hopper.”
