4K on DISH

DISH shows major sports and events in 4K and 4K HDR on channel 540. Browse your guide to find more 4K content on that channel – if there are no events listed, there aren't any available in 4K at the time.

You may have been able to watch 4K content on this channel previously, but as programmers have continued to improve their 4K content you will now need a 4K HDR TV to view most 4K content on DISH.

• A Hopper 3 receiver
• A 4K HDR TV
• An HDMI cable (either from DISH, or your own HDMI 2.0 or higher cable)

• A Hopper 3 receiver or a 4K Joey paired to a Hopper 3
• A 4K TV
• An HDMI cable (either from DISH, or your own HDMI 2.0 or higher cable)

Channel 540 is not available in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

There are many 4K On Demand movies available to rent or purchase through your Hopper. Look for the "4K Movies and Shows" shelf in our On Demand library by going to channel 300.
