Program Remote to Receiver

The following article will show you how to program your remote to control your Hopper, Joey, or Wally receiver. This article is most helpful for customers where one of the following scenarios applies:

• The Power and Volume buttons are the only working functions on your remote
• You recently upgraded or replaced your receiver

If you recently bought a new TV, replaced your remote, or the volume on your remote is not working (but everything else is), check out our other article, How to Program Remote to TV.

1. On the front panel of your receiver, press the SYSTEM INFO button.
2. On the front or side of your remote, press the SAT button.
3. On the front of your remote, press the CANCEL or Back button. (If system info does not clear from the screen, manually deprogram the remote by following the flow below, then repeat this flow.)

1. On the front panel of your receiver, press the SYSTEM INFO button.
2. Using the arrows on the front panel of your receiver, arrow to and select Unpair.
