Pair your remote

You can set your DISH remote to control your receiver, TV, and other devices.

To pair remote to a TV or auxilliary device

If you've recently bought a new TV, replaced your remote, or the volume on your remote isn't working (but everything else is) you may need to pair your remote to your TV. 

1. Press the HOME button twice, or the MENU button once, depending on your remote.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Remote Control.
4. Under DEVICES, select the device you want to connect to. 
5. Select Pairing Wizard, then follow the steps on screen. 

To pair remote to receiver

If you've recently upgraded your receiver or if your remote seems to only control the volume and power, you may need to pair your remote to the receiver.  

1. On the front panel of your receiver, press the SYSTEM INFO button. 
   • For Joey 4 or Wireless Joey 4 devices, press the button on top of your receiver. 
2. On your remote, press the SAT button. 
   • For the 60.0 simplified remote, press the microphone button. 
3. Your remote will beep to confirm that it has paired.
