1. Wait for boot recovery to finish
This can take up to 4 hours. Leave your receiver plugged in and turned on. If you unplug it or turn it off, the fix can take longer.
2. Reset your receiver
If the message is still there after 4 hours, reset your receiver:
- Find your receiver's power cord. It usually has a red tag.
- Unplug it from the outlet.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Plug it back in. If it was plugged into a surge protector, plug it straight into the wall outlet instead.
The reset can take up to 5 minutes.
