No information available in guide

If your guide isn't loading program information you can try downloading the information manually or resetting your device.

For a Hopper or Wally device you'll first need to make sure a tuner is available to download the guide information:

  • Depending on your remote, press the red button or Options button, then select TV activity.  
  • If any tuners are available, continue to step b.

If no tuners are available:

  • Select any tuner marked "Recording" then select Stop Recording or 
  • Turn off a receiver marked "Watching" 

Once a tuner is available, you can download the guide information. 

  1. Press Home 3 times.
  2. Select Tools, then select Guide update
  3. Wait for 10 minutes for the guide to download.

If you're seeing this issue on a Joey device, start by making sure the Joey is linked to your Hopper. Then complete the steps above from your primary device. 

For older devices:

  • Press the GUIDE button.
  • Repeatedly press the right arrow button until you see the error 318 message 
  • Select Yes, then wait 10 minutes for the guide information to download.

Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet for 10 seconds, then plug it back in.

 

Allow up to 10 minutes for the device to reset.
