Audio Description, also referred to as video description, described video, or Secondary Audio Programming, allows programs with narrative tracks to play when available. This feature is available on all DISH receivers.
Audio Description is audio-narrated descriptions of a program’s key visual elements. These descriptions are inserted into natural pauses in the program’s dialogue. Audio Description makes TV programming more accessible to individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
Bluetooth Audio feature allows you to sync Bluetooth devices like headphones, hearing aids, and soundbars for a clearer and easy listening experience.
You can pair up to five devices, but only two can be actively used at the same time.
Wally, Joey, and Hopper Duo receivers need a Bluetooth Adapter to use this feature. You can order the adapter online.
Connect your Bluetooth device to your DISH receiver.
Make sure your Bluetooth device is in a discoverable mode.
From your receiver’s Menu, select “Settings,” and then “Bluetooth Audio.”
Turn on Bluetooth Pairing. Select “Find Devices.”
Select your device from the results. Choose “Pair.” Enter the device passcode. If your device doesn’t have one, enter 0-0-0-0. Select “OK.”
You will see your device with a “Paired” status in the device list.
