You can cast video from your DISH Anywhere app to your Google Chromecast and watch on the big screen!
Your Chromecast needs to be activated, set up following Google's instructions, and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the phone or tablet where you're using the DISH Anywhere app.
Open your DISH Anywhere app and make sure you're logged in before following the steps below.
Select the cast icon.
Select the Chromecast device you want to cast to.
The app will show "connected" when successful.
Select the program you want to cast, then select Watch or the Play icon.
Select the mini controller to pause or play, skip ahead or back, mute the audio, and turn closed captioning on or off.
Please note that these controls may be disabled on live streaming channels at the request of the programmer.
To stop casting, select the cast icon from any page in the app, then select Stop Casting.
