Voicemail

Remember these global commands from anywhere within Voicemail:

  • Press * to cancel.
  • Press ** to return to main menu.

Your voicemail is automatically configured with a system greeting that plays your home phone number and requests the caller leave a message. Follow the steps below to customize your greeting.

  1. Call your home phone number 
  2. When the voicemail greeting begins, press * 
  3. Enter your security code. The default security code is 9999. 
  4. Press 3

 

You have the following options once you have accessed the greeting menu:

 

Press 1: Play your current Voicemail greeting.

Press 2: Record a new Voicemail greeting.

Press 7: Delete your current Voicemail greeting. If you delete your personal greeting, the system defaults to the system greeting.

From the personal options menu of your voicemail you will be able to modify your password as well as control the order messages are played and what information is played with them.

Access Voicemail Personal Options Menu

  1. Call your home phone number.
  2. When the voicemail greeting begins, press *.
  3. Enter your security code. The default security code is 9999.
  4. Press 4.

Change Voicemail Password

  1. Navigate to the Personal Options Menu by following the instructions above.
  2. Press 4.
  3. Press 1.
  4. Follow system prompts to change your Voicemail password.

Change Voicemail Playback Preferences

  1. Navigate to the Personal Options Menu by following the instructions above.
  2. Press 4.
  3. Press 2.
  4. Press 1.
  5. Follow the system prompts to select either LIFO or FIFO playback.
  • LIFO (Last in First out): play your most recent message first
  • FIFO (First in First out): play your oldest message first

Enable Message Timestamps

  1. Navigate to the Personal Options Menu by following the instructions above.
  2. Press 4.
  3. Press 2.
  4. Press 3.

  1. Call your home phone number and wait for your voicemail to answer.
  2. When voicemail answers, press * and enter your security code.
  3. After each message, press the button that matches your desired action:
    • To replay a message, press 1
    • To delete a message, press 7
    • To save a message, press 9
    • To keep a message marked as new, press *

Stay connected even when you can’t take a call. Our system can convert your voicemail messages to audio files and deliver to the email address of your choice. As long as your computer/tablet/smart phone can play audio files, you can listen to your voicemails no matter where you are. To set up voicemail email delivery:

  1. Access your Voicemail Portal.
  2. Log in using your telephone number and voice messaging password. The default voicemail password is 9999.
  3. Click the Configure Email Delivery button.
  4. Click the On button for the email delivery status.
  5. Enter the email address you would like messages delivered to.
  6. Click the Save button to save changes. Please allow up to 24 hours for changes to take effect.
