How to Use Pay-Per-View Movie Rental Certificates

Movie rental certificates are awesome – after all, who doesn’t love free movies? Before we tell you how to redeem yours, here are a few rules to be aware of:

Certificates can be used for movies found on channel 1 and channels 501-535. They cannot be used for sports, events, or adult titles.
Certificates are valid for movies up to $6.99. There is no residual value if used on movies under $6.99, and you will not be able to use your certificate to order movies over $6.99.
To check for existing certificates on your account, visit the My Rental Certificates page. We’ll automatically apply the oldest certificate on your account when you go to check out.

MyDISH App

Download the MyDISH App for Android or iPhone and sign in using the same Username and Password you use on mydish.com. Select "Movies & Events" on the SERVICES tab and pick the movie you want to order. If you have a valid movie rental certificate, it will be the default payment method – it’s that easy!

Online

When ordering Pay-Per-View or On Demand movies, if you have a valid movie rental certificate on your account, it will be the default payment method – it’s that easy!

Text

Text MOVIE to 34741 and follow the text instructions to pick the movie you want to order. When prompted, text CERT to use your certificate as your payment method and we’ll automatically use the oldest certificate on your account.

Phone

Call 877-DISH-PPV (877-347-4778) and follow the voice instructions to pick the movie you want to order. If you have a valid movie rental certificate on your account, it will be the default payment method.
