Before You Get Started

For All Prepaid Mastercards

Before redeeming your Prepaid Mastercard on mydish.com, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Your account must be active for 31 days from your installation date
  • You must pay your first bill
  • Your account cannot be in Pause or disconnected status
  • You will receive an email when your Prepaid Mastercard is ready to be redeemed on my.dish.com once you have met all requirements

How to Redeem

Here are the steps required to redeem your Prepaid Mastercard:

  1. Once you’ve met redemption requirements and received the email to request your Prepaid Mastercard, navigate to the My Prepaid Mastercards section of mydish.com or the View Prepaid Cards section of the MyDISH App (Services > Promotions > View Prepaid Cards) to complete your redemption.
    • Note: You must create a MyDISH account to access the My Prepaid Cards section on mydish.com or the MyDISH app.
    • Use the MyDISH App to access the Prepaid Mastercard Redemption process in Spanish. To see the application in Spanish, you must change your device language preference settings to Spanish.
  2. Verify your billing address and contact information as they display on screen.
    • If you need to make changes, select Make Changes listed below your address and contact information. You’ll be prompted to enter your billing address, phone number, and email address before selecting Update.
    • Click the checkbox to accept the E-Sign agreement (when applicable).
  3. Select Request Prepaid Mastercard located below your billing address and contact information.
  4. If successfully requested, the message “Thank you for submitting your request!” will display on screen. Prepaid Mastercard delivery can take 2-4 weeks.

Activate Your Prepaid Mastercard

Once you receive your Prepaid Mastercard in the mail, complete the following steps:

  1. Activate your card by calling the Cardholder Support number located on the back of your card.
  2. Sign the back of your card in the designated signature panel.
  3. Use your card before the Valid Thru date printed on your card.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you received mail or email mentioning a Prepaid Mastercard offer, please have the following information ready before contacting a Customer Service Representative:

  • The 10-digit or alphanumeric code provided with the communication you received (in 1234-567-890 or W123-456-789 format)
  • The offer name and Prepaid Mastercard amount as it appears on the communication

The Prepaid Mastercard is eligible for redemption after DISH services have been active for 31 days and after the first bill has been paid. Once eligible, cards must be redeemed within 75 days.

Your Prepaid Mastercard should arrive within 2-4 weeks after successfully completing all redemption requirements.

Prepaid Mastercard delivery may take 2-4 weeks after completing redemption on mydish.com or the MyDISH App. To ensure successful delivery, verify your billing address in your MyDISH profile or on the MyDISH App under Account > Profile > Billing Address.
