Manage DVR Timers

You can use DISH Anywhere to set timers for your receiver to auto-tune you to a desired program at a designated date/time, or to record your favorite programs automatically.

Use the steps below to help you manage your timer options by deleting unwanted timers, skipping timers if too many are set up at once, or simply keeping tabs on your existing timers.

Delete Timers

Open your DISH Anywhere app and make sure you're logged in before following the steps below.

Select DVR.
Select Timers.
Swipe to and select the timer you want to delete.
Select Delete Timer.
Select OK to confirm you want to delete the timer. A message will appear to confirm it has been successfully deleted.

Select Timers.
Swipe to and select the timer you want to delete.
Select Delete Timer.
Select OK to confirm you want to delete the timer. A message will appear to confirm it has been successfully deleted.

Visit dishanywhere.com and log in with your mydish.com username and password.

Hover over DVR to open the dropdown menu, and select My Timers.
Scroll to the timer you want to delete, and select Delete.
Select Delete Timer to confirm.

Skip Timers

You can skip timers when too many are set to happen at once. You can restore skipped timers from your receiver.

Open your DISH Anywhere app and make sure you're logged in before following the steps below.

Select DVR.
Select Daily Schedule.
Swipe to and select the timer you want to skip.
Select Skip.
Select Restore if this was done in error. Otherwise the timer will disappear from the Daily Schedule and can be restored at a later time from your receiver.

Open your DISH Anywhere app and make sure you're logged in before following the steps below.

Select DVR.
Select Daily Schedule.
Swipe to and select the timer you want to skip.
Select Skip.
Select Restore if this was done in error. Otherwise the timer will disappear from the Daily Schedule and can be restored at a later time from your receiver.

Visit dishanywhere.com and log in with your mydish.com username and password.

Hover over DVR to open the dropdown menu, and select Daily Schedule.
Scroll to and click on the timer you want to skip.
Select Skip. The timer will disappear from the Daily Schedule and can only be restored through the receiver.
