Connect a Soundbar to your TV

This article will help you connect your soundbar to your TV, so you can experience movie theater-quality sound while watching your DISH service.

1. Connect your soundbar to your TV.
   1. Connect the HDMI or optical cable from your soundbar to the corresponding port on your TV.
   2. Ensure your DISH receiver is still connected to your TV.
   3. Position your soundbar where desired, then plug it in.
2. Program your remote to the soundbar on your ViP receiver
   1. Program your remote to control your soundbar, making sure to follow the instructions for an auxiliary device.
   2. When done, press and hold the AUX mode button.
   3. Press the POUND (#) button.
   4. Press the VOLUME UP button.
   5. Press the 0 button.
   6. Press the POUND (#) button.
   7. Release the AUX mode button.
