Are both TVs showing the same picture and sound? This usually happens when a TV is on the wrong channel, a remote isn't set up right, or two TVs are sharing a tuner. Try these steps.
1. Check which room has a DISH receiver
If one of the rooms has a DISH receiver, go to that room and follow these steps. If neither room has a receiver, reprogram your remote. Follow the steps in other remote to receiver using new address.
2. Press the SAT button
On your DISH remote, press and let go of SAT.
3. Make sure your receiver is in dual mode
Look at the front of your receiver. The Mode light should be on under the two overlapping squares. If the light is under the single square, press Mode. If it's still under the single square, press Mode twice.
4. Check your RCA cables
If you use RCA cables, make sure they're plugged into the right column of ports. If you don't use RCA cables, go to the next step.
5. Go to the other room
Go to the other room with the problem. This is the room without a DISH receiver.
6. Try channel 60 or 73
Use the buttons on your TV or your TV remote to change to channel 60. If you don't see a DISH picture, try channel 73.
7. Go back to the room with the DISH receiver
Go back to the room with the DISH receiver.
8. Reset your receiver
Unplug your receiver's power cord from the outlet. It usually has a red tag. Wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in. The reset can take up to 5 minutes.
